This is the first entry of what I expect to be many.

In this LJ, I intend to keep record of ideas and thoughts regarding our wedding and hope to get feedback from you readers on these ideas.  Some of these posts will be friends-only but many will not (most likely)

So, here goes!

We've decided to design our own invitiations.  I've been spending a lot of time thinking about what I want for this wedding and one of the biggest things for me is INTENT.  I don't want to buy things that are manufactured for the masses.  Now, this is unreasonable in somethings.  Where am I going to find a person who can craft bells?  How can someone make my wedding dress when I'm thousands of miles away from darn near all my friends?

I have tons of crafty friends who are willing to help lend their creativity to this project.  I don't want this wedding to be just like everyone else who has gotten married/will be getting married in the next year or so.

Currently I'm looking for someone who can make a basket?  It doesn't have to be large, but I'm looking for a flower girl basket.  Any ideas where I might find such a person?  I'm not opposed to taking a basket weaving class myself.  What say you?
